About Me….

I am a queer, nonbinary writer from Austin, Texas who now resides in Los Angeles, California. I believe in the power of storytelling to express yourself and build community. I began writing in the 4th grade when I first created Paperman. I went on to write 3 books and several short stories for Paperman and the other characters that inhabit Paperworld.

I call myself a storyteller, as my writing spans multiple genres, from films to novels and short stories to podcasts. I find inspiration in my own experiences, the people around me and, most importantly, music. I dedicate all of my writing to my younger self. I write to tell the stories I want to read and for all the “weirdos” that need a space to belong.

My inspirations: Lemony Snicket’s: A Series of Unfortunate Events, Sonic the Hedgehog and all the punk rockers that continue to shake the foundations of culture and build communities for all the outsiders, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
